KENTUCKY DERBY 2015

DATES: April 29 thru May 5

THREE SPECIAL PARTS TO OUR TRIP:
1)  Oaks Race at Church Hill Downs, Friday, May 1
2)  Kentucky Derby at Church Hill Downs, Saturday, May 2
3)  Trip to Frankfort (capital)
Trip to Lexington and the Horse Park, May 3
4)  For this trip Tom and Dot (sister) flew into Indianapolis, IN and just before they flew          home to CA, Dot found our old house that we lived in till we moved to California in            1956.

First I will write about where we stayed: KY Expo. Center.  We were only in a parking lot but they provided electricity (always hooked up), water and dump ability when needed. All one had to do was connect, process, then remove them so you could share with your five neighbors.

Cost:  When you compare the Super 8 (down the street) that charges $710.96 for two nights, our $50 per night was a REAL DEAL. We would prefer less noise and partying, but hey, we were always tired from the day, and sleep came easily and the noise stayed outside when our windows were closed.

HATS:  I had two.  My sister Dotty had three.
The day before the Derby (Oaks Day) they honor pink for breast cancer.  See the Pink?
