CHRISTMAS 2014

Last week we went to lunch with some dear friends here in Edinburg, TX to a place called "Echo Hotel".  This is where I captured this beautiful Nativity Scene.  Hope you can enjoy it half as much as I did.  I, like you, are getting busy, busy, busy with the Christmas season so this will be my only post at this time.  Hope you all have received our Christmas card/picture.  Blessings to you and yours.

BYE, BYE BLUETOOTH

Well I'm sure I need to explain the following picture.  We are still in Oceanside, CA.  Mom has just understood that she can listen to her books using a "Bluetooth".  Long story short....she likes ours (yes we brought it with us).  So she decided to buy ours from us and we will get another one.  Our mom is getting computer "savy."

Birds and Google Plus

Go to Google + and look at my video of "The Birds".  I am trying to get it to our dear friend Gary who is a pastor because he just recently spoke about the birds in his Revelation study which I am listening to.  Bob and I love going to the corner of 10th street and Trenton (at dusk) here in Edinburg, TX.  I'm not sure why these birds come in swarms like they do but it is quite interesting to hear them clucking about on the wires then flying into the trees.

MY HIGH SCHOOL REUNION

All of our winter was fashioned around us attending my 50th high school reunion on October 4th.  What a GREAT time we had.  I especially enjoyed visiting with my long-lost friend Dian.  I say lost because she and I lost contact with each other till this event.  Here is a candid picture of us.

Whole Story Of Corpus Christi

We really enjoyed our stay on Padre Island National Seashore in Corpus Christi.  It was simply wonderful having a spot on the beach and get this....the cost was $4 per night.  Since it is a state park we got in free with my Senior Pass then when we got to the campground they gave us 1/2 price also;  no hookups but they do have an area where you can fill up with drinkable water and dump. 

One sad note:       I got the flu
One happy note:  Got to view the ocean and watch the waves during recovery.
